4. PARISH COUNCIL BUSINESS OVER THE PAST 12 MONTHS
Cllr McCaig gave an update on the work of the parish council over the past 12 months:
Council still consulted on further electrical infrastructure crossing the parish, including National Grid and Outer Dowsing. Council erected “No pylons” banners with the assistance of RD Timber who donated time and wooden frame, unfortunately these were removed by an LCC employee who subsequently left and they could not be found to return. LCC refunded the cost of the banners. Cllr McCaig attends Outer Dowsing Community Liaison Group meetings, at a recent meeting concerns were expressed at the cable route crossing a bridleway used by horse holiday business, Outer Dowsing responded to concerns in that the horses would be re-routed to the beach. The owner of the business has taken up the issue herself. Changes to County Councillors with Cllr Brookes replacing Cllr Davy and the election of a Lincolnshire Mayor. Cllr Brookes attended October meeting and took away concerns regarding road safety. Parish Church let to Mr Oliver who intends to run heritage workshops. Various planning applications have been responded to, along with blocked footpath concerns, replacement of de-fib pads and the allotments which are all let.
5. QUESTIONS
A member of the public asked about joining the Council but as he had not lived in the parish for the required length of time he was not eligible at this time.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 7:15pm
