337/26 – White House Farm, Long Lane – Erection of dwelling. This was a revision on that approved earlier, with a smaller footprint. Garages to remain as original approval. After discussion it was resolved that the following concerns and comments be made:
- There was an existing light pollution issue with the floodlights on site; these need lowering and shielding
- Garage block to be conditioned it be a garage only ancillary to the house
- Fence fronting the highway was over the 1m PD limit and needed reducing or planning permission sought to retain.
- Adjacent paddock appeared to have been subject to groundworks, any change to domestic use needed to be subject to planning approval.
- The static / mobile homes on site to be conditioned that they be removed once work has completed.
The Clerk confirmed that ELDC Enforcement had stated that the two statics on site were for the owner whilst building the dwelling and for “facilities” for workmen on site.
